It's not like I'm the world's most prolific writer, pretty far from it, but the tags just weren't working for me anymore. Most of my stuff can be found at P&P except for the things I've been too lazy to send in, but I wanted my own index. So here's a list of all my fic by fandom. I'm slowly working my way through my five prompts.  This is the second, for flying_peanuts, who asked for Wheeler/Eames or Eames/Barek, with bubble tea.  So this is Wheeler/Eames, because it's a pairing I haven't tried before.  I used pieces of backstory that haven't been explored much on the show, and I'm not really sure whether this little fic works at all.  But here it is anyway.  Title from "Cartographies of Silence" by Adrienne Rich.

fewthistle posted this meme, to which I responded and got a lovely little fic, so the rule was that I was supposed to repost it here, even though this is a super-old meme.  The first five people to comment with a prompt get a drabble, or maybe something longer.  (I don't even know whether five people read this, since I never really post anything.)

I'm kind of stuck on my DWP epic, so hopefully this will be a good break.  Fandom/pairing/rating are all up to you.

A couple of weeks ago ralst posted a challenge, in which you had 72 hours to write a fic involving something medical. Mine took a little longer than 72 hours, more like a couple of weeks, so I'm just sticking it here.

I think WITSEC! Alex! has been treated at Princeton-Plainsboro in other fics, but it's been a long time since I've read any. This is Alex/Cuddy, PG-13 for lots of f-bombs but no sex.

Be still, my heart. People, I have written some fic for passion_perfect's Los Hombres de Paco ficathon. For those of you who have not yet gotten at least a little bit hooked on this awesome, awesome show, it's a Spanish police drama with two female cops who fall in love. IN CANON, PEOPLE. random_flores has translations, recaps, and subtitled clips. The show is cracktastic, except actually really good. About a zillion times better than SVU, but then again, so is my left buttcheek. LHDP, though, is a genuinely funny, sweet, sad, wonderful show. Go watch the clips and TRY not to fall for Pepa and Silvia. Try it.

The prompt was "a day at the beach." Fluff is always good when you haven't actually written fic in, oh, two years or so. (It's really getting kind of embarrassing!)

Okay. It's been forever since I've been able to write anything, at all, with the exception of one quick crackfic. I've tried L&O, West Wing, South of Nowhere, even House: I can't get anywhere. I have the worst case of writer's block known to man, and this is really starting to get on my nerves.

So, I am appealing to my flist for help. I need prompts: characters, pairings, moods, scenes, situations, quotes, something. Anything. Then I can try to write it for you. The more detailed, the better, and I don't care how cracked-out it is. I am STUCK.

So, I have officially scared myself by writing A/O babyfic. I blame wizened_cynic, who is the queen of crackbabyfic, for this, because she suggested I write some and then all of a sudden there it was.

I was, originally, a little embarrassed and surprised by this, but I don't care anymore, so here it is. Babyfic, now for public consumption. Title courtesy of Dr. Spock, whose book probably kept my own parents from accidentally killing me.

So I have just realized, because I’m kind of dense, that I never crosspost the stuff I write for flying_peanuts’s challenges at even_angels_ anymore. She writes the first and last lines, and then we get to fill them in with fic. I know there are some people on my flist who seem to have friended me for fic and who don’t watch that community (which you should, because there are a lot of excellent writers there), so I’m being a tool and posting them here before I start on my next piece, which will be, well…catty.

Tonight I was hoping to catch an early-season rerun of SVU, because writing fic makes me nostalgic for Butchy McFabulous and the Glasses of Power and Justice and ALL THAT PRETTY. Unfortunately, what was on USA was the Conviction pilot, again. It doesn't improve upon a second viewing. I think it's because it's too much like Law and Order to be so little like Law and Order, if that makes any sense. (Also, Eric Balfour? Should never get to have sex. Gross.)

Also unfortunately, I decided to write an Alex-and-Olivia-at-Mike's-funeral fic. Everyone else has done this, and I do not know why I can't shake the clichés lately. (Actually, by "everyone," I mean something more like "one story that I think I saw at fanfiction.net." Whatever.) Anyway, this is sort of improbable and out of character, and I used one of Peanuts' beautiful prompts. (I hope I haven't offended you, my dear Peanuts, but for some reason, it's easier for me to write stuff that I can't actually fit into canon if I can pretend that it wasn't entirely my idea. Ducking wet noodles.) I went, well, way over the word limit, so I'm not posting it just yet to even_angels because it's more than twice as long as it should be (heh). Also, I don't like it very much. But because I have an 8000-word demand-a-fic due for Ralst on Monday and I only have 2000 words that are not very good and probably not usable, and because I should have spent this time working on that train wreck of a piece instead, I am posting this anyway, to prove to myself that I did, in fact, do something sort of productive. And now that I have spent far more words on this ficlet than it warranted, here it finally is.
